COLLEGE
Two-year starter at Florida. Started 24 of 35 games and had career totals of 118 tackles (87 solo), five tackles for loss, 24 passes defensed, three forced fumbles and three blocked kicks.
2005:
Selected first-team All-SEC by Associated Press and the NFL Draft Report. Was selected second-team All-SEC by the coaches. Ranked sixth on the team with 46 tackles (34 solo) and had one interception. Blocked two kicks and returned only the second defensive extra point for a score in school history vs. South Carolina. Had two forced fumbles and 13 passes defensed.
2004:
Moved into the starting lineup at cornerback and started all 12 games. Saw the most plays (924) of any Gator. Named team's Most Outstanding Defensive Back. Ranked fourth on the team with 61 tackles (46 solo) and had five tackles for loss. Blocked a kick and had three passes defensed .
2003:
Appeared in 11 games as a true freshman, mostly on special teams. Recorded 11 tackles (7 solo) with one forced fumble.
HIGH SCHOOL
Rated the second-best cornerback in the nations by Rivals.com. Earned USA Today first team All-America honors. Selected as Super Prep's Defensive Player of the Year and earned all-state (6A) honors as a senior. Participated in the Florida-California All-Star Game. Name Florida Times Union Player of the Year as a senior. Recorded eight interceptions as a senior and scored a school-record eight times on defense. Also played quarterback as a senior. Posted 10 interceptions, returning four for touchdowns as a junior and rushed for 780 yards as a tailback. Played cornerback and tailback as a sophomore and had eight interception and 820 yards rushing. Competed in track during the summer and qualified for teh Junior Olympic team in the 100 meters (10.6) and was the anchor on the 4 x 400 relay team.
